Happy Halloween!!!

Our Halloween celebration started last Friday night with a carnival at our church/school. There was a big crowd, but the boys had fun. They got to play several games like fishing, golf, duck pond and ball roll to win small prizes. Adrik also walked in the candy bar walk and won a Hershey Bar! On Saturday, my friend Mandie and I and Mandie's mom took the 5 kids to the zoo for the Zoo Boo. They wore their costumes and we entered them in the costume contest. Mandie's mom, Julie, had made their 3 kids matching 3 Musketeer costumes, and they won the best prize for the sub-category "best group costume." I was surprised and thrilled when Adrik won the grand prize for best overall costume and took home a big stuffed turkey vulture and 1 year family membership to the zoo--which is also good at the zoos in Boise, Idaho Falls, and Salt Lake City!! I'm sure we'll get lots of use out of it; Adrik is still our animal fan!

Tonight Keil took the boys trick or treating.....for a few minutes! lol The last two years, Adrik has been sick with the flu on Halloween, so this was his first real trick or treating experience. Below is a (not so great) picture of the three of them just before they headed out, (Adrik decided that Daddy needed a ghost costume or he couldn't go) and then two short videos. The first is of Adrik trick or treating at the first house they went too, our neighbors to the south west (whom we adore!) and the second is right after they came home.
